Hi ya'll! In the spirit of continuing forward with joblish and our quest to make "The Job" completely attainable, we've added a new voice. (That would be me.) For better or worse, you'll experience my musing and opining about job seeking, resume writing, interviewing, and whatever else I feel like discussing. My name is Laura, by the way. If there are any topics that you want me to talk about, you can e-mail me at thelaura@joblish.com. To ease into this blog and get my feet wet, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I'm not a recruiter. I don't work for a recruiter. What I do have is a successful, fun, and challenging job. Getting that job took my blood, sweat, and tears for over a year. Job seeking was my full time employer...and my boss was a pain. That being said, I know what it's like to be looking for a job and what it takes to put yourself out there and be successful. It's my goal to tell you anything I can about what made it easier for me to find not only a job, but a job that I love. I'll get to joblish very soon, but in the interest of keeping my first post short, (and hopefully sweet,) I'll wait. We'll get there though. What I'll leave you with today is this thought that I'll discuss in my next post: What have you done in your quest for a job and what will it take for you to find the job that is as right for you, as you are for it?
